My Dogs On This Brisk Morning

The first day of October and it's so wonderfully cool with a little breeze and sunshine! I opened my window and put the dog's fleece coats on. Here they are trying to keep warm (mind you, it's only 60 outside this early in the morning). Italian Greyhounds are particularly cold intolerant as they are so naturally skinny and have no meat on those long legs and such short fur. The Min Pins aren't very cold tolerant either because of the short fur.

Dresden and Persephone, I.G.'s (or Iggies)

Little Miss MoneyPenny. She is 11 years old this month. She is just starting to get a little white on her face and her eyes are worse. She can see, but there is a congenital defect that made her eyes cloudy. It's not cataracts, at least not so far.

Spunky Monkey, our red Miniature Pinscher. He is 8-9 years old now. Because he is red, he is turning white a little sooner than MoneyPenny did. He's getting a shadow of white on his little face.

Brett Rides The Riding Lawnmower

While Brett and Jenny were visiting in September, Stan took Brett for a ride on Ronnie's riding lawnmower. Brett loved it! He was thrilled. I especially loved the photos of his delight and the ones with his tongue stuck out as he concentrates. Here are my digital scrapbook pages of Brett on the riding lawnmower.

Brett's Visit

When Jenny and Brett visited in September, I took these photos. He had a hard time looking in the sun.

He calls the guest area in our house, "Bwett's House". He wanted to pretend to drive so Jenny sat with him in the car.

Stan took him for a ride on Ronnie's lawnmower and he thought he was the biggest thing!

His favorite movie is "Cars" and he was so excited when he found a car race on TV!

Decorating for Fall

It's that time again! I love to get out my Fall decorations. How do you do your Fall decor? What makes you think of Fall and gives you warm and loving Fall memories? Make a list of things that you associate with Fall. Here is my list:
Apples and apple cider
Orange, yellow, gold, brown
Pumpkins, gourds, squashes
Dried beans (those bean soups, yummmmmy)
Hot drinks (hot chocolate, hot tea, hot cinnamon coffee, hot cider)
Outdoor fires
Good books
Bright colored leaves
Walks in brisk weather

Just a few things that make me think of Fall. I did my usual thing of scouring the Internet for ideas. So many beautiful ideas and I appreciate those who put their ideas on the Internet for others to see!

My sister had her home decorated for Fall too!

I decorated my house for Fall!
