It's been passed down that Noda Vesta Miller, my great grandmother, was a great horsewoman and had her own saddle horse. This page tells the story of how she rode her horse down the mountain in a storm to warn her married daughter (a new mother at the time) about a flash flood. She made it just in time and saved Pearl and her baby's life because the flood washed their house away. Elaine and Melinda have her gift with horses. I rode too for a few years but they rode most of their lives.
I did this digital scrapbook page as a heritage page.
