Brett, Jenny and Kyle Came For The 4th of July

Little Denis the Menace

Elaine's Deck Is Decorated For July 4th

The boys love Stan so much and he doesn't do anything for them! I'm the one that buys their food, feeds and waters them everyday, cuts their nails, cleans their ears, change their diapies, picks up the poop, takes them outside, takes them to the Vet, etc. Sheesh! I would be jealous except they do me this way too. They shamelessly adore us!

Here is Little Miss MoneyPenny loving on Persephone after she got home from the Vet. She had a mass on her little front paw next to her dew claw. Since her brother died of cancer, we had to take it off and it will be biopsied. I should learn something in about a week. Anyway, she has a little boo boo with some stitches so Miss MoneyPenny is giving her the once over to make sure she's OK.

Stan Is Cooking The Hash!

We almost decided not to make the hash this year since Luke, our nephew, isn't here to help. He's become Stan's hash buddy! Luke is in Iraq serving our country. But our neighbors came over and asked if Stan was making it this year because they wanted to buy some. So he finally decided to do it. But he misses Luke.

The Fourth of July has always been a big deal in Stan's family and this will the first time Luke has ever missed it. But not only will he be here next summer, so will his BABY! Luke and Hannah are expecting! So we will have a new little booger for Stan to teach how to cook the hash.

Katie Chooses Her Bridesmaid's Dresses

This is the scrapbook layout I made of Katie when she chose her bridesmaid dresses. I made the black background paper using some Victorian, 1920's, 1930's fashion model brushes. I like the effect!

Aaron Involved In Salkahatchie Project

Our nephew, Aaron, has been involved in the Methodist Salkahatchie project for several years. He really enjoys it. His friends take photos and I get to download them from Facebook. I also inserted some cartoons. They are copyrighted so I messed them up before putting them on the Web. I don't want to get in trouble. But when I print the pages for him, the cartoons will not be messed up. I left him room to journal about his experience on the painted pieces of cardboard journaling blocks.
