We catch Luke in the parking lot before the formal picture taking.
Stan and I arrive. I thought it appropriate that a stray dog was hanging around us! We all three checked his collar to make sure he wasn't lost. He was from across the street.

Melinda (our youngest sister) with her husband, Mike and their son, Lee.
As usual, I get someone in mid-blink. Luke isn't drunk! He's just mid-blink. Here he is with his parents just before the ceremony.
Ronnie, Luke's Father and Stan's brother
Evans is one of Luke's cousins, Kenny and Anna's son.
Jenny was a Bridesmaid. Here she is trying to give directions to her husband, Kyle, on how to get there.
You can barely see little baby boy under the dress! Every time she walked by, we heard whispers like, "Who is she?", "She's his sister", "She's so beautiful", "She's 6 months pregnant and she doesn't look like it". We hear things like this all the time but we never get tired of hearing it.
This is a wonderful photo of Uncle Glenn and Aunt Janis!
Here is Kenny with his two older sons, Aaron and Evans.
Evans with his fiance, Chelsea. She looked stunning too!
All 3 of Kenny and Anna's sons, Aaron, Evans and little Logan.

Katie is Luke's cousin.
Kenny looks like a Mafia hit man here but he's really not! If he didn't have a mean look this would be a great photo of him.

I snuck this picture before they did their formal cake cutting photos.
Hannah was absolutely beautiful! Just radiant! Her dress was perfect and her hair was beautifully done. I wish I could have gotten more photos of her but I know they hired a professional and I was trying to be careful not to get in the professional photographer's way. I look forward to seeing the professional photos. She was just so beautiful. In fact, when Luke was standing at the altar and she came down the aisle, he took one look and mouthed "WOW!"
Hannah's gorgeous wedding portrait!

Off they go!
I love Hannah and I'm so thankful that Luke found such a good Christian girl. But I have to admit that I cried all the way through the ceremony. Not because I felt like I was losing him to her but because he's grown up. I kept remembering that little baby in his crib and how I would make him laugh and giggle. How I would kiss his fingers and his toes and tell him that they tasted like chocolate, banana, strawberry and he would giggle. How he looked when he would grin and you could see his first 3 teeth coming in and he was drooly. How he was when growing up on the farm...playing in the mud, driving his truck around in the field when he learned how to drive, how he loved to work wood up with us, learning how to drive the tractor, etc. I could see Jenny, Luke and Lee all over the farm and the tears just wouldn't stop. Those days are forever gone. I'm old and they are the young generation and, with Jenny's baby, another generation is starting. It's the way of life but it's hard sometimes. And they will know what I mean when they come to my age and see their children grow up. The circle of life.
Melinda sent me her photos. She and Elaine have better cameras than mine. So here they are:
