Any stories handed down about "Uncle Jasper," the slave Darius Prince left to care for his mother, Milly Prince? I've been researching my family, and I'm told we acquired our last name "Prince" from the slave owner from SC/NC/Mississippi...looked through the slave schedules hoping for names, but the ages were just as fascinating.
