To follow the Swicegoods (Americanized of the German Schweissgut/Schweissguth/Schweisguth) I found this on the Internet. I cannot verify it as of now:
Sterengen Schweissguth (Dob: 1406 in Germany; Dod: 1496 in Germany) had Hans De Schweissguth (Dob: 1466 in Nesselwangle, Austria; Dod: 1530 in Germany). Hans had Wolfgang Oswald Van Schweissguth (Dob: 1495 in Lechund, Reuth, Germany; Dod: ? in Tyrol Region, Austria). Hans had Gerald Oswald Schweissguth (Dob: 1555 in Tyrol Region, Austria; Dod: ? in Tyrol region, Austria). Gerald had Veth Schweissguth (Dob: 1581 in Germany; Dod: 1647 in Germany) who married Anna Schadlin (Dob: 1580 in Germany; Dod: ? in Germany). The dates of birth and dates of death on Johannes George Schweissguth and his wife, Anna Katherine Girsius are the same so I don't know if this is correct. Johannes George Schweissguth and Anna Katherine Girsius had Lorentz Schweissguth (Dob: 2/10/1723-1724 in Weisbaden, Nassau, Hessen, Germany; Dod: 3/12/1799 in Paradise, York, Pennsylvania) who married Catherine Elizabeth Weyer (Dob: 1/23/1719-1720 in Bierstadt, Hesse-Nassau, Germany; Dod: 1760 in Paradise, York, Pennsylvania) on 8/16/1746 in York, York County, Pennsylvania. See the Weyer info below. Lorentz and Catherine had Maria Margaretha Schweissgut (see her information above where she married Godfried Rattz, Sr.

To follow the Weyers (Weiher) I found this on the Internet. I cannot verify it as of now:

Philipp John A Weyer and Maria Catherina Kayser had Catherine Elizabeth Weyer (Dob: 1/23/1719-1720 in Bierstadt, Hesse-Nassau, Germany; Dod: 1760 in Paradise, York County, Pennsylvania). Catherine Elizabeth Weyer married Lorentz Schweissguth (see above info).

The last two may be twins or may be the same name person with just different name spellings.

I found some information on the areas of Germany mentioned in the above family trees.

Lehrbach, Hessen, Germany is just east of the city of Kirtof in Hessen, Germany.

Elbigenalp, Tyrol, Austria is in the Alps in northwest Austria. Elbigenalp lies embedded between Lechtal Alps and Allgäu Alps. Elbigenalp nestles right up to the mountains, the Bavarian, Lechtal and Allgäu Alps. It is set in a region of castles and palaces, mountains and lakes, the loveliest spot in the eastern Allgäu. Two famous castles built by King Ludwig of Bavaria, Neuschwanstein - audacious and other-worldly - and Hohenschwangau - romantic and welcoming - sit boldly on their hilltops as if they had been there forever. They are a little northeast. Since the Middle Ages (1312) Elbigenalp is the political and spiritual centre of the parish Lechtal.

Nesselwangle, Tyrol, Austria is in the Alps in northwest Austria. Elbigenalp lies embedded between Lechtal Alps and Allgäu Alps. Saarbrucken, Saarland, Germany is slightly south on the west side of Germany. It borders France and Luxembourg.

Hesse-Nassau, Germany was part of Hessen which is situated between Germany's Westfalen (northwest), Rheinland (west), Baden (southwest), Bavaria (southeast), Thuringen (east) and Nieder-Sachsen (northeast). Hessen's a little left of central Germany. Hesse-Nassau was the northern part of Hessen.

Weissbaden, Germany is west of Frankfurt on the southern border of Hessen.

York, Pennsylvania is on the southern border of Pennsylvania with Maryland just across the line. York was founded in 1741 by Philadelphian settlers. During the Revolutionary War, York served as a temporary capital for the Continental Congress. The Articles of Confederation were drafted in York.

Davidson County, NC was formed from part of the old Rowan County, NC in 1822. It is in central North Carolina just above Rowan County's Salisbury and below Forsyth County's Winston-Salem. It's county seat is Lexington and the other town of size is Thomasville in it's far north.
